Detail in the Fabric

my likes, loves and slight obessions

Month: August, 2011

Love me or hate me? I can’t decide..

Pretty Kitty

As you all read here, the beginning of May was emotional. But, just two months later two little kittens were welcomed into my family, more adorable then ever Madeline and Chole fit right in. The two kitten are sitters and have two adorable, playful and distinct personalities. It is honestly hard to leave my house when I wake up with them in my bed. The least I can say is I’m obsessed

Label Me

Overly-organized and OCD like me? Obessed with these Anya Hindmarch bags?
Me too! Get one of your own?

New Englandah

I love New England in the summer, and you can’t get more New England than some clam cakes, a stuffy, the beach and some New England clam chowdah!

Just a few outfits for some end of the summer inspirations. As the nights get shorter and the air becomes slightly cooler these simple looks I am lusting over.

To live life

Mend the seasons, they go round and round…

…and the painted ponies go up and down
We’re captive on the carousel of time.
Friday afternoon, my mom and I decided to relive some of my childhood memories by going down to The Crescent Park Looff Carousel. We reminisced about riding the brightly hand-crafted horses when I was just a child and went on for a ride. Though I think I was more scared now then I was as a child, I gladly climbed on a pony and went around and around. I would defiantly suggest everyone I know to take some time and enjoy this summer-time activity.

I have to say, ever since discovering La Crêperie on the East Side of Providence I have become obsessed with the French treat. However, today the ten minute drive seemed daunting and meant changing out of my comfy-can’t-leave-the-house-in-this outfit,  so I found this recipe and what I thought would be tedious turned out to be close to effortless and completely delicious.

Travel Bug

Started looking through photos of my trip to Florance the other day, and realized how much I missed it and wanted to go back. Thought I would share.
