Will and Kate 4ever!

Or shall I say Duke William Arthur Philip Louis and (now) Duchess Catherine Elizabeth Middleton of Cambridge? Either way yesterday’s royal wedding went off without a hitch! The wedding was absolute perfection; it was simple, elegant and romantic. And of course, who could forget the dress? Sarah Burton for Alexander McQuenn!
Obviously Kate and Will were pure perfection, but what about the guests? Check out Joe Zee of Elle Magazine ‘Royal Treatment’ where he ranks of all the fashion dos and don’t here!

Sea Worthy

Trying to find hair clips like this, they are so fun and summery!
I am ready to grab my flip flops, slip in to a bathing suit and head down to the beach. This would all be wonderful if only the weather would cooperate.  But sooner or later the clouds will clear and the temperature will rise and I will be sinking my toes into the warm sand and sun bathing in the hot summer sun! In the mean time here are a few items that will remind me of the sea, sun and sand!
BDG Toggle Jacket from UO and Tory Burch beach tote.
Bobbi Brown ‘Beach’ Perfume and MARC by MARC JACOBS ‘coral’ ring
Sperry Bluefish Eye Boat shoes

Fly me around the world

My freshmen year of college is coming to a close and I have made it a mission of mine to travel as much as possible. The opportunity to travel is something I do not want to pass by. I love experiencing the different cultures, beautiful architecture and mesmerizing landmarks of different countries around the world. The most difficult part in all of this is deciding where to go! Here are somethings my inspiring globe-trotter self is thinking of acquiring.
World Map Wall Decor from UO
Vintage Globe with Airplane found here.
“An authentic replica of a vintage travel agent globe recalls an era when flight was a glamorous adventure”
Kate Spade ‘harrison street metallic’ passport holder found here.
Sterling silver airplane charm from Tiffany & Co.

I want my geese to lay gold eggs for Easter

Every Easter has always been the same routine; spending the weekend at my grandmother’s house in upstate new york, eating way too much polish food, getting my picture taken with the Easter bunny and dying eggs to make the ordinary egg into extremely festive decorations! Although, there were no geese laying golden eggs, Easter in my family is a quaint holiday, which is enjoyed by sipping mimosas and eating jellybeans while enjoying the company of one another.
Our traditional egg dying is simple and fun, just add some vinegar and food coloring to warm water and dip the egg in. My family adds rubber bands and masking tape to make designs on each egg.

What’s inside?

What’s in the box? Well, a few weeks ago an Anthropologie store opened up not to far from where I live, which I was super excited about. The bad news is that I still have not found the time to go slightly out of my way to the new store, however, my cousin Kirsten has taken the new store by storm, making me extremely jealous every time she arrives home with the treasures she finds there.  So, you are still thinking, what is in the box? Lucky for me, while my cousin browsed through the racks and shelves at the Anthro store, she found a treasure for me, and taunted me with a picture of this box which concealed my gift! Last weekend I finally saw my cousin and I was finally able to revel the box’s contents, which did not disappointed!

Emma Watson

From Harry Potter to Burberry, Emma Watson has made a huge impact in the fashion industry for someone her age. Emma, who grew up in the UK started the Harry Potter movies when she was only ten years old, no one would have ever imagined the  young, frizzy haired girl to grace the  covers and pages of some of the world’s greatest fashion magazines, like Vouge, Elle, and Vouge Italian, just to name a few. Emma really made her name in fashion on the red carpet and by becoming the face of Buberry. The Harry Potter films will soon come to an end and Watson will keep busy as a junior as Brown University, becoming the face of Lancome and as Creative Adviser for People Tree.

Happy Hippie

Lately, I have been in much need of some cheering up. I thought the first day of spring would have done the trick to snap me out of my melancholy mood, but the un-spring like weather has kept me feeling down. With my down in the dumps kind of mood I decided to blast my i-pod with happy-go-lucky music, which lead me straight to my Beatles play list! Their music is so effortlessly soothing and made me think of the peace, love and joy philosophy they had, and the effortlessly cool fashion their time brought.
